call me grace...

It feels like forever since I have done a post! The reason my friends is that I am queen of being a clutz! I am so clumsy I am always tripping and falling! Usually I am in momentary shock then get up and brush myself off. Ohhhh but not this time, This time I did a real number! I really hurt myself this time unfortunately bruised sore and who knows what else. I need to get into a orthopedic doc but seems like I am not the only one having trouble they are booked and cannot see me until next Monday! It is my right arm that is bothering me and that is my dominate side so doing some daily things are a little more challenging like important stuff! like... blogging!  Seriously though, it makes me sad... it has taken me a few years to build the courage to get started now that I have I find so much enjoyment in meeting  and chatting with you all out there! and this little setback has not allowed me to continue to do that. Just this little post has taken a couple of days cause I can only stay on for so long before my arm starts bothering me :( I can't wait till things are figured out and get back to normal! Hope you all had a better weekend!!

Oh how I wanted a pair of these babys but every time I looked at them I reminded myself how dangerous they would be for me because of my special talent of falling gracefully. This last mishap just solidifies it! So, I will just continue to admire from afar!

  1. You know, the good news is that it's bruises - nothing's broken, you are still here and trust me, will be fine soon. Just rest, don't go crazy with activities and listen to your body. Usually when you hurt yourself this way, you do get bad bruises and it hurts like hell as it's all in deep tissues, but it goes within a week or so.
Take good care of yourself and get well soon.

  9. Oh that sucks, I hope you don't need surgery, I feel like I trip all the time too. I always feel so nervous when those models walk down the catwalk in such tall heels..and when they fall it must hurt so bad because they are like 6'5" in those heels. haha...AND I I almost bought these black spiky heels but they didn't have my size. I'm so glad you showed all the colors, I really like the white and the leopard ones too.

  17. Oh no! Had I known you were having a hard time getting in with an orthopedic surgeon I would have referred you to mine... I have a back injury, so I know what you mean when the little daily activities are a struggle... I hope everything is okay. Take good care of yourself. (and thanks for this post - got a kick out of it! And smart move staying away from the Sam Edelman's - I tried them on a Nordstrom and if you walk like me, sometimes brushing my ankles together, these are DANGER in the making!)

  23. Hi there! Thanks for visiting my blog :) I am the Queen of Clumsiness and yes, I can be added to the list of gals who have tripped on the runway. I had to laugh it off. I first noticed those shoes in Kim K! They are amazing, but I don't have the courage to wear them.
